The Volume refers to which year, the number refers to the order of when it was released during the year..1/1 Was the first Roadtrip..1/2 the second etc.

In January the Volumes went to 2/1..2/2..etc.

In January 2011 We should move to Volume 5 # 1,2,3 etc..

It appears they are trying to release on a quarterly basis resulting in Volumes 1-4 each year.

This system works better in the Magazine world where you can use the numbering system to find articles you may be looking for in past issues..The value of it in this context seems non-existant

No, they recently released Vol. IV No. 1, the Seminole Indian Reservation shows. I would be expecting Vol. IV No. 2 in January 2011. I wouldn't expect any Volume 5 untill late 2011 at the earliest.

Cliff your right they jumped the date to start a new volume by about 45 days. It makes the numbering system even more irrelevant...must be a new level of improvising
